Blood Relative
Why are we not using the power of internet to find fresh blood
at the moment of crisis? We have some databases of more the one billion people.
We will just integrate these with apps.
Let us call the apps “Blood Relative”. The proposed app will use a same server but will connect people through Facebook, Google Plus, Twitter, Viber, WhatsApp etc. The app "Blood Relative" will be available through Play Store, iPhone app store, Facebook applications etc.
The app will ask everyone
to input their blood group, which will be displayed in profile info section. If
anyone wishes to donate blood will have to declare it in the apps. Time to time
the donor will update the last date of blood donation. (Obviously everyone has
the right to change blood related information and declaration anytime.)
If someone hospitalized,
or feels need of blood, will have to put a request in the app. Then the app
will send notification to all available donors who are in friend-list and
follower list. There will be chance for both blood donor and receiver to
provide ‘thumbs up’ rating which will be publicly displayed in donors and
receivers profile with total blood donation or receiving times information.
This is important to find out big-hearted people to honor.
It will be so tough to
create a global or local database alone without the help of social network. If
we use the readymade database, it will be the easiest way of solution. Who will
control the apps? I propose World Health Organization WHO. If any private
entrepreneur takes initiative, it may raise controversy. But if WHO leads,
everyone will cooperate.

কি জন্য আমরা সঙ্কটময় মুহূর্তে বিশুদ্ধ রক্ত খুঁজে বের করার
জন্য ইন্টারনেটের শক্তি কাজে লাগাচ্ছি না? একশ কোটির বেশি মানুষের তথ্য সম্বলিত বেশ কিছু ডাটাবেস
আমাদের রয়েছে। আমরা এগুলোকে অ্যাপস এর সাথে সমন্বয় করবো।
আসুন আমরা প্রস্তাবিত অ্যাপসকে “ব্লাড রিলেটিভ” বলি। প্রস্তাবিত অ্যাপস একটিই সার্ভার
ব্যবহার করবে, কিন্তু মানুষকে ফেসবুক, গুগল প্লাস, টুইটার,
ভাইবার, হোয়াটস-অ্যাপ ইত্যাদির মাধ্যমে সংযুক্ত করবে।
প্রস্তাবিত অ্যাপস “ব্লাড রিলেটিভ” প্লে স্টোর, আইফোন অ্যাপ স্টোর, ফেসবুক অ্যাপলিকেশন ইত্যাদির মাধ্যমে পাওয়া যাবে।
এই অ্যাপস সবাইকে তাদের ব্লাড গ্রুপ জানাতে অনুরোধ করবে, যা তাদের প্রোফাইলে প্রদর্শিত হবে। যদি কেউ
রক্তদানে উৎসাহিত হয়, তবে তাকে অ্যাপসে ঘোষণা
দিতে হবে। সময়ে সময়ে দাতা তার শেষ রক্তদানের তারিখ আপডেট করবে। (অবশ্যই
প্রত্যেকেরই যে কোন মুহূর্তে রক্ত সংক্রান্ত তথ্য ও ঘোষণা পরিবর্তনের অধিকার
রয়েছে।)
যদি কেউ হসপিটালে ভর্তি হয়, বা রক্তের প্রয়োজন অনুভব করে, সেক্ষেত্রে অ্যাপসে একটা রিকোয়েস্ট দিতে হবে। অ্যাপস তখন
বন্ধু তালিকায় ও অনুসরণকারির তালিকায় থাকা সকলের কাছে একটা নোটিফিকেশন পাঠাবে।
রক্তদাতা ও গ্রহীতা উভয়ের জন্যই একটা ‘থাম্বস আপ’ রেটিং দেয়ার সুযোগ থাকবে
যা প্রকাশ্য দাতা ও গ্রহীতার প্রোফাইলে কতবার রক্তদান বা গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে সেই
তথ্যসহ প্রদর্শিত হবে। বড় হৃদয়ের মানুষদের খুঁজে বের করে সম্মান প্রদর্শন করার
জন্য এটা জরুরি।
সোশাল নেটওয়ার্কের সহযোগিতা ছাড়া একা একা একটা বৈশ্বিক বা
আঞ্চলিক ডাটাবেস গড়ে তোলা অত্যন্ত কঠিন হবে। যদি আমরা রেডিমেড ডাটাবেস ব্যবহার করি, এটা হবে সমাধানের সবচে সহজ পথ। কে এই
অ্যাপসটা নিয়ন্ত্রণ করবে?

তবে
সবাই সহযোগিতা করবে।
