Rebuilding of Ram Temple

Babur conquered India few hundred years ago, and started to rule as Mughal Emperor.  He was a Muslim by faith. Babur demolished Hindu shrine “Ram Temple”, and constructed a mosque in its place which became known as “Babri Mosque”. Although there was enough land to build mosque in whole India. Even there was enough space surrounding that Hindu shrine. So, definitely the decision to destroy shrine was only communal.

Majority of Hindus strongly believe specifically this place as the exact birthplace of Rama, where Muslims built mosque. We hear regularly from Muslim that they are persecuted everywhere, but they never consider the issue of Ram Temple or demolition of Ram’s birthplace. When Muslim community starts self-criticism and leave occupancy mentality, from then attack from other communities will be decreased. Perhaps any Muslim may say that there is no proof that the specific place of Ayodhya is the birthplace of Ram. On the contrary any non-Muslim can say, there is no proof of Prophecy or Night Journey of Islam’s founder Muhammad. The religions are based on trust and emotion. But to build temple demolishing mosque or to build mosque demolishing temple is not accepted in any religion.

As Ayodhya is not any “Sacred place” of Muslims but most important for Hindus, so is it really very important to keep a mosque there? Rather government should allocate ten times more land at other-place and build a mosque there.  After that the whole birthplace of Ram will be rebuilt as “Ram Temple” – the Sacred place of Hindus. This special temple will be entirely controlled by the central government. It’s the best solution to avoid bloodshed, and to establish communal peace among Hindu and Muslims.

Don’t forget the verses of Holy Quran: “Commit no excesses in your religion”, Surah Al-Baqara, Ayah 85.
